- A worldwide leader, this company have a history of inventing new technology and their latest achievement offers some truly disruptive advancements in marine technology. The company have recently set aside another £5m to invest in further R&D as they continue to break new ground.
They are currently looking for an additional electronics engineer to work in a varied role. You’ll need to overcome the many challenges that building products to survive in the harshest ocean environments brings.
You’ll work in a team of 6 engineers that are responsible for everything electronic and electrical related on the products. This particular role will be focused on general digital electronics, micro-controllers and to a lesser extent, some analogue, electrical, CPLD and FPGA work.
Electronics Engineer essential requirements
• Anything from 2 to 40 years Digital electronics design experience
• Appreciation of Analogue electronics
• Microcontrollers
• Quick learner
Electronics Engineer desirable skills
• Design for EMC
• PSU design
• Signal conditioning
• Real Time Embedded C
• Motor control
• Interfaces/protocols such as SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, RS485
• Robotics
• Sensors
