Southampton
Working with complex bleeding edge capital equipment this role will manage a service network for an expanding hi-tech engineering business. Taking ownership of 2 service centers in the UK you will work closely with global partners to ensure customers are receiving first class support across the entire product range.
You will work in partnership with a parent company who have service partnerships across the world to ensure they fully understand and are trained on the product range. The 2 sites you would take ownership for are in Southampton and Rugby and you would need to travel to Rugby from time to time but international travel would be minimal.
The team you would oversee would be service engineers, technicians and repair line staff with 18 in total across the 2 sites with 4 direct reports.
The business are introducing key new products at pace and this role is key to the success of these implementations and growth plans.
For this position we are looking for:
Proven technical service management experience working with hi-value capital equipment.
The ability to lead and mentor and train skilled teams of engineers.
A formal engineering qualification.
