- Design and Technical Leadership- Electrical motor technology- the future of flight!
We are looking for a number of senior leadership roles and design roles to work on truly bleeding edge technology within electrical air travel. Although there are many competitors working on similar technology you will join a team who are way ahead of the curve due to the investment they have made into this field over several years and the contacts they have within aviation.
This role will truly push the boundaries of innovation working on motors recorded at 56000 RPM with a constant demand to be more powerful, smaller, and more efficient. The technology has a huge array of benefits for the customer and the climate with a range of applications using vertical take-off technology for anything from drone transportation to flying taxis.
Working at a Centre of Excellence you will join a team who are pioneers in this field with a massive demand for their technology with a huge array of projects lined up for years to come. They are also investing heavily into a factory of the future where you will see these products turn into reality.
The positions will oversee teams of engineers in a technical leadership capacity overseeing large projects and delegating team resources accordingly. Because of the technical nature of the work, you will need to have a strong understanding of design engineering with an appreciation of all the aspects that go into making a great cross functional product.
We are after well rounded engineers with a great grasp of the fundamentals who can take ownership of work packages and inspire a team to deliver projects to all the necessary design, cost and quality parameters.
Some of the key requirements will be:
- A degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- A successful background in leading and developing teams of engineers on complex projects.
- A thorough understanding of design engineering.
You will have worked with motor technology/rotating equipment or a complex cross functional product combining mechanical/electronics/electrical and software elements.
There are a range of different leadership options available and therefore salary really is dependent on experience. The company can offer relocation assistance along with an excellent benefits package.
Salary will be completely dependent on experience and level.
