- Description
- Design of automated test systems using Python for communications based software. We are looking for a Software Engineer with at least 3 years commercial experience, some of which will have been developing test automation frameworks.
It’s a cool company with an international presence who have fully embraced working from home and only require team members to be onsite 1 day per week (more if preferred). During your initial training period, this will likely increase to 3 days.
An interest in communications, security, encryption, mobile networks, cloud based systems or mass data processing will be a major benefit.

SDET Software Engineer essential requirements
- 3 or more years commercial software experience
- Python & scripting
- Test Development & test automation frameworks
- Eligible for security clearance (British resident)
SDET Software Engineer desirable skills
- Linux
- Networking, TCP/IP, encryption, packet inspection
- Tools like Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, Bitbucket
- Cloud based systems
