Program Manager
Leading all Research and Technology projects within an expanding division you will be involved with bleeding edge technology mainly associated with electric air travel. This commercially focussed role will work in a small team of Program Managers during a critical phase of expansion as they continue to push the boundaries of technology within their field.
Although there are many competitors working on similar technology, you will join a team who are way ahead of the curve due to the investment they have made and the contacts they have within aviation.
The technology has a huge array of benefits for the customer and the climate with a range of propulsion applications using vertical take-off technology for anything from drone transportation to flying taxis.
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Working with other international sites and institutions supporting the technology program in the UK.
Controlling and optimising the budgets whilst also securing government funding for development projects.
Developing roadmaps for technology milestones to aid in the smooth transfer of the product to the development team.
Analysing the market and customer demand in conjunction with sales and marketing.
Managing and co-ordinating the development of prototypes with engineering teams.
Providing leadership, guidance, and support to your team.
For this role we are looking for proven commercially focussed technical Program Managers. It is likely you will have a degree in engineering with significant experience of leading teams of cross functional engineers.
It is essential you have a clear understanding of how successful projects should be run with ideally some knowledge of gaining government funding for technical development projects.
You will be based out of a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility where huge investment is being made to turn the site into a factory of the future.
Due to expansion the team has several openings for Program Managers and Senior Program Managers. Salary level will be completely dependant on experience with some excellent benefits associated with the role.
The site is based on the Herts/Beds/Bucks border.
The company offer a hybrid working policy ideally where you will be based 3 days a week in the office.
