- Field Service Engineer
A field service engineering role with great benefits and significant avenues of progression; you be providing critical support and solutions to a wide range of clients for a world leader in bleeding-edge technology.
Joining a small but growing service team, you will be an essential part of the business, providing crucial maintenance, installation and repair of this companies vast range of products, including BMS and HVAC equipment. As part of a large organisation, you will find a proven pathway for progression, with senior leaders wanting people to join the business and become an integral part of the operation long-term.
You will be based at home and required to travel to clients across your catchment area, which ranges between Glasgow and Edinburgh. You will expected to travel on average up to 45 minutes to and from sites, but any travel that exceeds this will be covered financially. Due to the travelling involved, there is an electric car scheme with a number of options to choose from. Service Engineers have the opportunity to be on breakdown call, which is paid door-to-door and also comes with a retainer fee. The company also operate a commission scheme for their service team, with the current team earning on average, an extra 11% on-top of their base salary.
Some key skills they are looking for
An experienced Service Engineer, with knowledge of software fault finding or programming PLC’s. The ideal candidate will have qualification in an engineering discipline (preferably Electrical). If you have experience of BMS or HVAC equipment and processes. this would be beneficial, but not essential.
Working Hours: Mon-Fri (37.5)
Holiday: 28 days + bank holidays with buy/sell plan
Salary: Dependent on experience + commission scheme
