Roles and Responsibilities:
Your role will be critical to supporting the development and innovation of new products and systems, used in a range of industries. Alongside employing core technology and product knowledge, you will also get the chance to explore new business markets.- Preparing product specifications, creating and developing designs alongside manufacturing teams
- Prototyping and support for verification testing, risk assessment and DFMEA’s
- Working cross-functionally with different teams: electronics, production and quality
- Attend product launches and visit manufacturing facilities, dealing with customer enquiries
- Minimum 3-4 years within a mechanical design role, working on complex technical products
- Strong 3D CAD knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes (DMFEA/BOM’s)
- Working through the entire product lifecycle from concept to volume production
- Degree qualified within mechanical engineering
- Personality: Commercial acumen, good communicator, able to prioritize workload
- Nice to have: stainless steel fabrication, pneumatics, precision engineering design, FEA and CFD
