- Description
- This role is a key opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of improving the lead lifecycle within a CRM system, playing a central part in driving sales and marketing success for a business at the forefront of the manufacturing and engineering sector.
As Lead Development Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing and optimising the entire lead process within a CRM environment, ensuring customer and prospect data is always accurate and up to date. You’ll work closely with sales managers and marketing teams to align lead activities with business goals, support targeted campaigns, and help steer the flow and volume of leads to achieve ambitious growth targets.
From generating new outbound leads through post-event initiatives and market research to qualifying both inbound and outbound enquiries, you’ll be instrumental in nurturing prospects and moving them effectively through the sales funnel.
You’ll also monitor key performance metrics such as conversion and qualification rates, data accuracy, and campaign effectiveness, constantly seeking ways to improve processes and close any gaps in lead flow that could impact future opportunities.
You will need two to three years of experience in sales, marketing, or a commercial role. This is a great step for anyone looking to build their career in lead management and CRM. Familiarity with SAP C4C or similar systems, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI, will be valuable. Additionally, an analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in the manufacturing and engineering industries are desirable.
This position offers the chance to explore trends and growth areas within UK manufacturing, including emerging technologies like cloud computing, and to contribute your insights directly into sales and marketing strategies.
This role is looking for:
- At least 1 year experience in sales and marketing.
- Experience using SAP and CRM or equivalent.
- Good ability with Microsfot packages.
