- A great opportunity has opened up for an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to join a tight-knit and well-established engineering team based in St Austell, Cornwall. This role focuses on the design and development of robust embedded hardware systems, including control systems for real-world applications ranging from IoT-connected heat pump tech to MOD-related fire control and engine management systems. The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping next-gen electronics, from prototyping through to testing and production handover, collaborating with colleagues both in the UK and internationally.
The right person will have at least 3 years’ commercial experience in hardware design, be comfortable working with C for hardware-level development, and be driven by a genuine enthusiasm for electronics. It's a practical role—definitely not academic—and suits someone who wants to grow into a senior engineer, perhaps even lead a lab in time.
