- This key role will support a busy purchasing function within a technical/engineering environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in procurement within a high-tech engineering environment.
You’ll be responsible for placing and tracking orders, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring smooth coordination between purchasing, accounts, and project teams. Full training will be provided, and no formal buying qualifications are required – just the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities- Place orders based on requirements provided by the technical team.
- Use the procurement system to process and update orders.
- Liaise with suppliers (maximum of 5 per project) to chase updates and ensure timely delivery.
- Keep supplier records and evaluations up to date.
- Match invoices against purchase orders and forward to accounts.
- Support the wider procurement and project teams as required.
