Description

We’re looking for a Technical Author to take ownership of documentation and drive improvements across a pioneering high-tech engineering company. With minimal red tape, you’ll have the freedom to shape the role around your skills and ideas.
This business designs and manufactures cutting-edge technology that integrates electro-mechanical systems, software, and hardware. To thrive here, you’ll need a solid grounding in high-tech engineering and the ability to communicate complex concepts with clarity.

You will play a key role in developing and improving the company’s technical publications, ensuring documentation is clear, accurate, and fit for a global customer base. With most manuals already in place, your focus will be on refining content, standardising processes, and introducing improvements that make information easier to use and maintain.

This role also offers the opportunity to grow into leadership, with training and support provided to help you take on more responsibility over time. You’ll gain experience working on cross-functional projects alongside engineers, product specialists, and senior stakeholders, giving you the chance to influence how technical information is created and shared across the business.

What We’re Looking For
  • Degree/qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Background in technical writing, documentation, or content management systems.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to influence and improve processes.
  • Strong communicator, confident working with engineers and business leaders.
