We’re looking for an experienced Fibre Technology Engineer to join a growing team developing high-power laser systems for demanding industrial applications. You’ll play a central part in supporting new product development and driving improvements in the next generation of fibre laser technology.
In this role, you’ll design, build, and test fibre laser systems, including hands-on work with fibre splicing and performance testing. You’ll also collaborate closely with production teams to ensure a smooth transition from research and development into full-scale manufacturing.
To succeed, you’ll need a strong background in fibre optics or laser engineering, with experience in fibre laser design, testing, and troubleshooting. You should be confident working in a lab environment, solving complex technical problems, and communicating clearly with engineers from different disciplines.
A degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field is required, and a higher degree such as a PhD would be an advantage.
We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, technically curious, and ready to take ownership of innovative projects.
