This role sits within a specialist engineering group supporting sales activity. You’ll work closely with Sales Managers to understand customer requirements; design tailored solutions and present these back in a clear and engaging way. It’s a mix of discovery calls, preparing proposals and specifications, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure designs are both feasible and competitive.
Role Breakdown:- Attending discovery calls and helping scope technical requirements
- Meeting UK customers to understand their challenges and build tailored solutions
- Preparing presentations, documentation, quotations and system drawings
- Coordinating with engineering teams to refine designs and ensure compliance
- Supporting sales colleagues with all technical questions
- Any previous sales/applications or support engineering experience is preferred
- Electrical engineering competence: Ideally degree or HND/HNC
- Personality: Strong communicator, proactive, energetic, able to work independently
- Nice to have: experience with critical infrastructure, data center solutions, AC or DC, CRM and SAP systems
