- Description
- This is a transitional role in which you will lead the QMS and operations for a fast-growing technology business. The position offers the opportunity to step beyond a purely quality-focused role and take ownership of the systems and processes that support manufacturing, procurement and after-sales operations as the company continues to scale.
Working within a highly innovative hardware environment, you will take responsibility for the company’s Quality Management System while helping shape operational processes across production and supply chain. You will work closely with engineering teams to support manufacturing readiness, resolve build or test challenges and ensure products are delivered to customers on time, to quality, and to cost.
This role would suit someone who has already taken ownership of quality within a technical manufacturing or engineering environment and is now ready to expand their scope into wider operational leadership. The organisation is small, ambitious and scaling, providing a genuine opportunity to make a visible impact in a hands-on setting while building broader experience across operations, supply chain and service that will strengthen your long-term career progression.
The role involves managing relationships with key suppliers and partners, ensuring high standards of quality, reliability and delivery across the supply chain. You will also work closely with multiple areas of the business, giving you broad visibility and the opportunity to see the direct impact of your work across operations, production and customer delivery.
The company operates at the forefront of advanced technology development, delivering highly specialised systems used across a range of cutting-edge applications. Based in a state-of-the-art facility, you will be surrounded by highly skilled engineers working on innovative next-generation technology. With strong investment and growing market demand, this role plays a key part in supporting the next stage of growth.
Key requirements:- Experience leading or managing a Quality Management System within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Understanding of ISO9000 series standards and the processes behind effective quality systems
- Hands-on approach with the ability to support manufacturing, problem-solving and operational improvements
