This company is looking for an experienced and commercially minded leader to take ownership of an end-to-end order management function within a well-established, manufacturing organisation. Operating as a global leader in the design and manufacture of cutting-edge technology, the company has built an outstanding reputation over more than 50 years of innovation and industry excellence.
This is a senior role reporting directly to the Managing Director, offering both strategic influence and hands-on operational responsibility across multiple product lines, including capital equipment, spare parts, tooling and services. You will have a handful of direct reports, so personable skills will be key.
You will lead and develop a capable team spanning order processing and logistics, ensuring performance, accountability and continuous improvement are embedded across all activities. Acting as the key escalation point, you will bring clarity and control to complex operational challenges while maintaining a strong focus on customer outcomes and service excellence. Your ability to balance strategic oversight with day-to-day operational awareness will be essential in driving efficiency, managing risk and supporting business growth.
The role requires a confident communicator who can operate effectively at senior level, using data and insight to inform decisions and influence stakeholders. You will take ownership of KPIs, oversee process optimisation and play a central role in strengthening systems and digital platforms, particularly within SAP S/4HANA. A strong understanding of order-to-cash processes within a B2B environment is essential, alongside proven experience managing teams and improving operational performance.

Key requirements for the role include:
• Proven experience in a senior operational or management role with direct team leadership responsibility
• Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, particularly across SD and MM modules
• Advanced Excel capability, including data analysis, reporting and dashboard creation
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end order management within a B2B environment
• A track record of driving process improvement, managing KPIs and influencing senior stakeholders
