- Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri – 8am-4:30pm
We’re on the lookout for CNC Programmers to join a global manufacturing leader with state of the art facilities, based in Ely. you’ll be working out of a multistorey site, with an onsite canteen, entertainment spaces and direct train routes, assembling and packaging products which are considered the gold standards in their industry.
You’ll support R&D and manufacturing departments with programming and machining of new components. You’ll take an active role in process improvements, promoting collaboration with different departments.
What are we looking for?- Working knowledge of fanuc based vertical mills / 5-axis mills
- Micro-level prevision, machine loading and operation experience, with basic understanding of engineering drawings, with knowledge of CAD/CAM Systems
- Qualifications: Apprenticeship trained or similar
- Experience: 5 years +
- Sliding head Lathes – Highly Desirable
- 5-Axis mills and wire EDM - nice to have
