Test Technician

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to use their natural hands-on skills and learn how to apply them into the world of hi-tech engineering, for a world leader in audio and music technology.

You’ll become a vital part of the testing team, helping to repair equipment trusted by some of the world’s top professionals within music, carrying out mechanical assemblies, basic wiring and lower-level electronics work. This role will give you the chance to develop into a fully-fledged test engineer, with a proven pathway into other areas of the business.

You will be joining a high end audio and recording device manufacturer that create products from professional audio production consoles to at home personal studios. They have a range of tools for music production, live sound engineering and broadcasting; they are a world leader in this market.

What are we looking for?

• Background in Mechanical assembly, wiring, PCB assembly or test


• Any formal qualifications (NVQ/HNC ) would be nice to have


• Desirable Skills: able to read schematics, good soldering skills and an interest in technology, electronics or audio mixing


• Personal: Bit of a hobbyist, tinkerer. Someone who can take things apart and put them back together
