A business at the forefront of advanced space communications technology. You’ll be joining a team of highly skilled engineers, during a time of significant growth and a pipeline of major projects for one of the global leaders within the space sector.
Joining a growing procurement team, you will source, evaluate and procure Electronic components (PCB’s, semiconductors, connectors, sensors etc), interpreting technical drawings, BOM’s and specifications. You’ll need to work alongside different teams, including engineering, projects and quality and be able to identify and qualify new suppliers.

What are we looking for?- 2 years + experience in buying/procurement
- Industry: high reliability sectors like space, aerospace, defense, rail etc would be preferred.
- Strong understanding of electronic component lifecycles and obsolescence
- Experience using MRP/ERP: Infor, SAP, Oracle, IFS etc
- Export/shipping regulations
- Awareness of ISO 9001, AS9100, quality systems
- Exposure to ESA/ECSS,NASA, MIL-STD
- Engineering/technical degree and/or CIPS qualifications
