- International Service Engineer
An International Service Engineer is required to join a high-tech manufacturing company. Half of your time will be spent abroad; installing, servicing and repairing customer’s equipment, the remaining half will be spent on site in Didcot; commissioning and conducting final tests on the company’s products.
The successful candidate will be the prime point of contact for the customer so must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. You will also be expected to schedule your own service visits and arrange your own travel so you must be a self-starter. Individual trips can last up to two weeks with two weekends away.
The nature of the servicing will be primarily electrical and electronic but a basic understanding of mechanical principles is required.
International Service Engineer Requirements:
- A relevant engineering based qualification or appropriate experience.
- At least 2 years in a similar, service based role.
- Experience in digital electronics, optics or lasers would be desirable.
