- Electronic Development Engineer
High Wycombe
We are looking for an Electronic Development Engineer who is passionate about complex electronic products looking to work on the entire life cycle of a huge range of innovative products used mainly within the defence industry. You will play a pivotal role in the lifecycle of the product working closely with various different internal and external departments. Main responsibilities will include:
Understanding any design problems or faults by liaising with engineers and looking at circuit diagrams and implementing design changes and modifications.
Getting a thorough understanding of the product and fault finding and testing and investigating any potential issues.
Taking ownership of the product and Engaging regularly with HW and SW and systems engineers to drive and facilitate improvement plans on a wide range of electronic products mainly used in naval applications.
Supporting service engineers and customers with support and technical feedback- (some travel will be involved off-site with this).
Writing technical reports, specifications and test procedures.
For this role you will need:
A degree or HND in electronic Engineering.
Strong understanding of electronic design/circuit diagrams with the ability to fault find on a range of complex electronic products to component level.
The ability to solve complex electronic engineering problems and communicate these with various internal and external sources.
A background of working in the defence industry is highly desirable.
