Engineering Outsourcing Manager

 

An Engineering Outsourcing Manager is required to join a leading company in the aviation market who pride themselves on being at the heart of strategy and the forefront of research in their area. You will take responsibility for the strategy and process for all outsourced engineering tasks.

As an Engineering Outsourcing Manager you will define processes and procedures for the management of multiple suppliers for work units and packages as well as creating relevant statements of work to ensure on time delivery with acceptable levels of quality.

You will also be responsible for making decisions regarding the awarding of contracts to suppliers as well as either accepting or rejecting their work package submissions.

 

Engineering Outsourcing Manager Requirements:
  • Project Management skills.
  • Knowledge of Engineering processes.
  • Experience with successful outsourcing of Engineering work packages in the UK, Europe and Far East.
  • Previous leadership/management experience.
  • Willingness to travel to visit suppliers as needed.
