Description
We are looking for an experienced embedded software engineer to place in a highly varied role working on board bring-up, mostly PowerPC and Intel based boards but also ARM and NXP too.  Staff retention in this team is very high, what embedded software engineers seem to like best about this role is that there is never a quiet moment.  There are always new products coming through, they always work with the latest, leading processors and different operating systems week to week.  If you are looking to specialise in 1 particular operating system this is unlikely to be the job for you.

We are looking for an embedded software engineer with experience in at least 1 real time operating system and a desire to learn others.  You will be the kind of embedded software engineer who relishes the opportunity to try different things, share views and always looks to improve processes.  As well as RTOS experience, skills should include exposure to as many of the following as possible: bare metal programming, low level drivers, BIOS, U-Boot, UEFI, Embedded Linux, VxWorks, C, assembly, Agile, Perforce, Git, Atlassian tools.

Benefits include a 10% pension, 26 days holiday, income protection, private medical, life assurance and flexible benefits package.
