Expansion of new projects has led to a UI / UX Software Engineering position within the R&D team of a cutting edge engineering company focusing on the design of computer vision products. This innovation award winning company has a new building situated in one of London’s fastest growing areas. With Canary Wharf and the Docklands in their neighbourhood and excellent transport links by road and public transport, it is an ideal location for work and pleasure.
Purpose of the role:
This Software Engineer with demonstrable experience in QT, QML and MFC is to participate in the development of new software applications as well as also liaising with their small team on the embedded Windows platform, both of which further the progression of their range of market-leading computer vision technology.
The role would suit an individual that has ample commercial experience in UI / GUI design and a confident ability coding in C++ is desirable. The ideal candidate will thrive in a software engineering role that encompasses much, much more than coding.
Essential skills
UI / UX design experience using QT creator tool
QT / QML / MFC
GUI design experience
Desirable skills
C++ (ideally on a Windows platform)
An interest in Computer Vision, Image Processing or Optics technology
Multi-threaded applications
Object-oriented design experience
