Description

Engineering company, renowned for its extensive history in developing products designed for challenging environments, is excited to introduce a new opportunity for a Technical Author. In this role, you'll be primarily responsible for creating comprehensive internal and external documentation, including build guides and user manuals for custom, high-value, low-volume products.

The products are fascinating and highly technical, demanding a strong grasp of engineering terminology to ensure accurate documentation. While they operate under a hybrid work policy, this role necessitates a minimum of three days per week onsite, probably more during the initial training phase.

With a welcoming atmosphere, the company boasts a well-established presence and a robust order book, featuring projects extending over several years.

Essential requirements

Proven technical documentation skills
Engineering or Electronics or similar technical background
High attention to detail

Desirable skills

Previous experience documenting products from a regulated industry such as military, defence, aerospace, automotive, medical etc.
