Description
We are looking for a Graduate/Junior Electronic Design Engineer to join an expanding organisation in Southampton, working on designing electronics for safety, control, and productivity systems in a wide range of industries that enables its clients to enhance functionality, deliver high productivity and reduce costs.

This is a brand-new role as the company’s workload is increasing, and they are looking to double in size over the next year. Although the company is small it is owned by a much larger organisation, giving it that small company feel with a large financial backing. You will work on the next generation of the company’s products, giving you the opportunity to see your designs used in real-world settings whilst building on your design skills.

As an Electronics Design Engineer you will work on products such as sensors and display interfaces, with your responsibilities including analogue and digital electronics, and PCB design. All the design and manufacturing is done in house, giving you experience of working across the full product lifecycle.

Requirements of the Junior Electronics Engineer

Essential:
  • Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Experience if electronics design (analogue and digital)
  • PCB Design experience
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of electronic systems
  • Knowledge of design standards
  •
