- Senior Integration and Applications Engineer
Cambridge with regular global travel
As a Senior Integration and Applications engineer you will play a key role in working with OEMs and assessing new applications for products within the inkjet field. The product range is diverse and constantly evolving, so a strong technical aptitude along with the ability to interact with clients to find innovative solutions to problems is a key focus of the role. You will need to be based within commutable distance of Cambridge but with a flexibility to travel regularly across the world sometimes at short notice. Key responsibilities will include:
- Help to develop successful integration of products and components into customer’s applications.
- Gaining an in depth understanding of the product from front end to finished product focussing on mechanical integration, ink behaviour, and product quality. From this then understanding how this can help customer requirements.
- Carry out technical visits which may include lab trials and remote support to identify solutions to interface with products.
- Working closely with internal project and programme teams and providing regular feedback given by customers to help in the development of current and future products.
For this role you will need:
- A degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
- Experience of system integration of multidiscipline high tech products.
- The ability to solve real world engineering problems by using analytical techniques.
- Strong customer facing skills with flexibility to travel sometimes at short notice.
- Any inkjet printing experience would be highly desirable.
