Description
An environmental sensors instrumentation company is looking to recruit an Electronics Design Engineer to join its talented team in Royston, due to growth in the company.

The Electronics Design Engineer will work in the company’s newly built state of the art facility, designing and developing technology to make the environment cleaner, and prolong the life of the planet.

The role will involve the Electronics Design Engineer designing analogue and digital electronic circuits, along with testing and evaluating theoretical designs, taking your designs from concept through to manufacture on site.

The company place high importance on investing time and effort in developing their employees, encouraging participation in a range of training offered in house and externally.

Requirements of the Electronics Design Engineer

Essential:
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent/HND in Electronics and relevant experience
  • Experience in analogue and digital electronic circuits
  • PCB design experience on multilayer boards
  • EMC testing
Desirable:
  • Experience in microcontroller design in MSP430 or ATMEL M4 core series
  • Experience designing hand held applications/ low power/ battery supported circuits
  • Electronic design for a batch product environment
