This is an ideal role for an embedded software engineer with a diverse skillset as you will work on a range of embedded modules and high level interfaces.  There are 3 main control boards in the product - one runs a C++ application on a RTOS, another has microcontrollers for machine control and the third is an FPGA based board.  These are all connected to an SBC with a touch screen windows interface.  The most recent interfaces are developed in C++ with Qt, the more legacy products with MFC.

If you are an embedded software engineer who likes variety, is interested in solving complex problems relating to machine control and can also develop high level applications in C++, then this opportunity is definitely worth exploring.

With Canary Wharf and the Docklands in their neighbourhood and excellent transport links by air, road and public transport, it is an ideal location for work and pleasure.
