- A global supplier that specialises in high voltage power conversion systems are looking for a New Product Definition Engineer to join their team.
The company has over 300 employees worldwide, with the Cambridge facility housing approximately 20 people – giving you a small company feel with a large company backing.
As a Product Definition Engineer you will be part of a small team of approximately 5 people, and will also be expected to be able to work independently. You will be responsible for developing IC based system solutions for switch mode power supplies. This will include the architecture, verification and prototyping of the new IC before passing the design over to the IC design team.
Requirements of the Product Definition Engineer
- Master’s degree in electronic or electrical engineering
- 5+ years’ experience developing switch mode power supplies, ideally with IC implementation
- Understanding of power conversion topologies
- Experience of digital circuit design, FPGA prototyping and Verilog programming
- 25 Days holiday (plus bank holidays)
