Royston
Working as an R&D Technician you will play a key role in supporting the technical development of next generation technology for a company who have a great reputation for producing innovative products. This role is diverse and you will use a range of mechanical, electrical, electronic and software skills working on developing tests and experiments to help keep the product range ahead of the competition!
Some other responsibilities will include:
- Develop and assemble test jigs and fixtures combining mechanical, electrical and software components.
- Perform experiments on by operating test equipment and taking measurements.
- Manage test programs to evaluate new components and systems.
- Working with scientists and engineers on evaluating a range of ideas for new products.
For this role we are looking for:
- An apprentice trained engineer looking to develop a full time varied career with great opportunities for progression.
- A strong technical background with an appreciation of electrical and mechanical principles.
