- Description
- Oxford University spin out with considerable financial backing and ambitious growth to date, are looking for a number of C++ Software Engineers. The role will involve writing instrumentation control algorithms, data analysis software and intuitive user interfaces for their unique, patented scientific instrument.
Software Engineers will typically use a combination of C++, Python, Qt, OpenGL, CUDA and .Net but they are also exploring the use of functional languages such as Scala and Haskell for some tasks.
C++ Software Engineer essential skills
We would like to hear from C++ Software Engineers with significant C++ experience (ideally C++11/14) and degree in a technical field.
C++ Software Engineer desirable skills
- Windows development, Visual Studio
- Qt
- Git
- Python
- CUDA
- Communicating with hardware/instrumentation.
- Embedded C/Firmware.
- Web Technologies, in particular for data visualisation node.js, d3.js
