- Description
- Brand new position for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to be responsible for selecting, developing and maintaining the company’s ERP system together with related business processes, including training, front line support and documentation. They are currently using Sage but are looking for a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of ERP systems to advise on the best package going forward.
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will keep senior management informed by preparing reports on system performance and problems and should be able to maintain database performance by troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Business Systems Analyst typical tasks:
- Design, maintenance, enhancement, coding and administration of the database
- Driving continuous improvement through increased performance and functionality
- Reviewing business requests for functionality and third-party integration
- Coordinate enhancements with third party providers to ensure consistency
- Analyse information needs, data flow, output and reporting capabilities
Business Systems Analyst essential requirements:
- At least 2 years of ERP system administrations experience
- Knowledge of SQL, SQL scripting and database structure
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Business Systems Analyst desirable skills:
- Sage X3, specifically manufacturing implementation and set up experience
- A background in the manufacturing sector
- Crystal Report writing skills
- Understanding of Spindle integration
- Experience in developing management information systems
- Experience in business process design and implementation
- Financial literacy
