Software Test Engineer (Grad- Experienced)

Experienced Software/QA Tester or a STEM graduate looking to become established in a software engineering environment? Look no further than applying for this position at a company that creates a range of high-tech scientific products.

In this role, you will get the chance to see the software you work with deployed in the real-world and make a substantial difference, particularly within the medical domain.

Joining a team of 4, you will work closely alongside the software team lead and software developers and will be responsible for a number of tasks including developing and executing test plans for the company’s products. This will include a mixture of manual (75%) and automated (25%) testing where necessary.

As a Software Test Engineer, as you become well equipped with the company’s interesting product range, you will also be involved in writing high-quality end-user manuals and other related documentation.

Graduate Software Test Engineer Requirements:
  • 2:1+ in a STEM degree subject
  • Commercial testing experience OR good testing experience through university/personal projects
  • Strong literacy skills (for writing technical documentation)
Experienced Software Test Engineer Requirements:
  • 2:1+ in a STEM degree subject
  • Software QA experience
  • Experience developing and executing test cases
  • Strong literacy skills (for writing technical documentation)

Desirable:
  • C++
  • JavaScript
