Description
Due to the nature of the work the company do, candidates must be British or from the EU, and have been in the UK for at least 3 of the last 5 years.

Ideal for a Junior/Senior Electronics Engineer who enjoys direct customer contact and problem solving, this Technical Support Engineer role entails working for a company that specialise in embedded computing technologies for safety critical applications, where products must have the highest performance and reliability rates.
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will resolve customer issues remotely over the phone and by email using your expert knowledge of the product range and/or by recreating the customers set up in house with the internal engineering team to reach the optimal solution. You will work on both small day to day issues, as well as long term concerns.
Your work will consist of a focus on the company’s FMC and FPGA products, and therefore a technical background in electronics, software, or computer science is essential. You will also need excellent problem solving and communication skills and be comfortable talking to customers.
Requirements of the Technical Support Engineer

Essential:
  • Degree in electronics, software, computer science or related
  • Experience of working in a technical environment
  • 2 years working in a customer focused role
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  •  
Desirable:
  • Experience in circuit test, evaluation and/or verification
  • Experience of FPGA products and RTL development
