- Description
- IT Support Engineer role suited to an individual who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills, prioritise their workload and manage tasks to fulfil support requests as part of a dedicated team. This IT team provide support to over 350 internal employees and are responsible for developing, installing and maintaining a range of services to support business systems and processes.
The successful IT Support Engineer will be able to demonstrate keen problem-solving skills and have excellent attention to detail. A can-do and positive attitude is essential.
IT Support Engineer Responsibilities
- Providing telephone, email and desk side support on a wide range of requests
- Setup and bespoke configuration of desktops, laptops and telephony devices
- Server support
- Creation and management of support tickets
Skills in a number of the areas below:
- Windows 7/8/10
- Linux and Mac OS
- Microsoft Exchange
- Outlook and Office365
- Active Directory
- Building and upgrading PCs
- Networking – WiFi, Firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP, DHCP, cabling and patching
