Working with a diverse range of bespoke hi-tech engineering products you will be given the freedom to lead, build and drive sales opportunities on a truly global scale. The company are around 50 in the UK with other global offices and a parent company who have given them the security to invest heavily into new technology and innovation which they are now seeing real results from.
Based at their design and manufacturing facility you will drive sales across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMA), leveraging existing relationships and using various methods to develop new business, working with internal marketing and development teams to investigate potential new markets to penetrate.
The company already have a strong sales process in place, but they are always looking to evolve and require for a passion for technology and a real desire to buy into a team ethos where you can make a significant impact into the future success of a growing company.
The product range mainly focusses around subsea oil and gas technology with an increasing presence in the renewable energy sector. Any experience in this sector is desirable but not essential, if you have a strong sales background working with technical engineering products you will be able to learn the product range by working closely with the technical specialists.
The territory will be varied but will mainly focus around the EMA region, but you will also have to travel to other global sites from time to time. Typically, the split is likely to be 75% based out of Woking and 25% internationally.
Although the role has no direct management responsibility you will have a great platform to progress within the company and group owner company who have a portfolio of 20 engineering organisations. You will have direct involvement with the MD and Global Head of sales helping to drive forward several projects which will shape the future of the company.
For this role we are looking for:
- A strong technical sales background working with complex engineering products. Ideally within the subsea oil and gas or renewables sector.
- We will look at a range of experience levels from 2 years + if you have a strong understanding of the principles of sales and a real desire to make a difference within the company.
- Ideally degree level qualified in a technical field. (not essential).
The base salary is dependant on experience, on top of this you will be entitled to a bonus which can pay up to 20% dependant on company and personal objectives.
