Working on the development of a hi-tech innovative biotech product you will play an important role in transferring this technology into mass production. Due to the nature of the project you will provide guidance on key areas of design for manufacture, specification development and test and inspection development.

The role will be a mix of developing process and then troubleshooting potential problems by working closely with internal teams of engineers and external manufacturing partners.

Working in a small team you will focus more around the mechanical development side of things, so we ideally need experience of managing mechanical related projects within a biotech or hi-tech engineering environment.

Along with mechanical experience we are also ideally looking for…

-          An understanding of volume manufacturing and ideally automated/semi- automated assembly processes.
