Managing a small but expanding Product Management team this position combines strategic leadership and creativity. You will join a company who are positively impacting patients and families lives across the world by creating innovative neonatal intensive care products.
Taking ownership of future and existing products you will help to create a clear plan across all stages of the product lifecycle. You will inherit a small but talented team of product managers and marketing specialists giving them clear guidance and inspiration.
The company are on an exciting journey with big plans to grow the existing product range, whilst also investing in new areas of disruptive technology. The product range is diverse and is used within neonatal wards and hospitals across the world. They are now just under 100 staff and have built strong cash foundations, with a clear plan of how they can expand the business moving forward.
You will need to be based within commutable distance of Crawley as the role will require close collaboration with sales, marketing, R&D, QA, Regulatory and manufacturing teams.
Some of the day to day responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage a product marketing plan whilst also creating a strategic product roadmap for the entire product portfolio.
- Create compelling marketing launch plans and pricing plans for new and existing products.
- Identify and evaluate potential new products for distribution.
- Manage the development of launch plans to ensure the smooth commercialisation of products.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and events with the team.
- Work in partnership with the sales team to create a clear understanding of business goals and objectives.
Because of the nature of the industry you will be working in you will need to have proven experience within the medical device sector ideally with a background in neonatal or critical care products.
A vital part of the role will be leading and managing the team whilst also putting in place strategic measures for the department. Because of this you will need to have a background of managing people within a product management/marketing function.
