- Programme/Project Manager – Defence
We are looking for a senior Project/Programme Manager to work in a customer facing role, responsible for the Project Management of all phases of development projects from initiation to manufacture in the engineering sector. The Project Managers will typically manage multiple development projects simultaneously and report progress to Management and customers. Projects typically last from 6-18 months with value of £2-20M.
The Project/Programme Manager roles come with lots of responsibility, ownership of major projects and the opportunity to grow with a fast-moving organisation.
We are looking for experienced Project/Programme Managers with experience working for a Defence, Aerospace or similar systems development organisation.
Project/Programme Manager essential requirements
- Project Management experience
- Experience of systems development programmes in Defence, Aerospace, Medical or similar
- Projects c£2-20M
- Strong communication skills with a customer focused approach
- Microsoft Project
- PMP, PRINCE2, APMP, APMPQ
- EVM, EVPM
- New Product Introduction/NPI
