Description
Applications Engineer- (Systems Engineering)

Mixing the fundamentals of Systems Engineering with a customer focussed Applications approach this role really does offer engineering diversity! Working with a range of hi-tech products you will help to develop complex engineering solutions working closely with external customers and internal engineering teams.

You will be involved in executing all technical aspects of engineering projects from customer requirements, developing hardware and software solutions and writing technical documentation. The product range is complex so you will need to have a passion for learning new technology and then adapting products for different areas of application.

There are 2 key areas that you will need to have exposure to:
  1. Designing systems and components using system analysis tools. (FMEA, UML, Data Flow etc).
  2. A strong understanding of design and feasibility to production including digital and analogue circuits, microprocessor circuits, PCB design and real time embedded software. 
You will need to have a customer focussed approach to problem solving working on a range of technical areas that will include:
