Description
This successful organisation has existed for over 20 years to help technology companies develop complex electronic systems that they can’t design themselves or are not available to buy elsewhere. Those systems usually involve an element of radio communications and this team have some of the leading experts in that area.

They are currently looking for an experienced electronics engineer to take on a systems level design role with some hands-on detailed development work too. Projects vary in length, some weeks, others years – your role will start by taking a customer specification and distilling into appropriate feasibility and system level analysis activities. This will include analysing limitations, moving that through to a block diagram and then working with your team to develop the solution.

We are looking for an electronics engineer with a number of year design experience which should include some level of systems design activity. E.g. taking a problem where you’ve had to model a solution, maybe in Matlab or Python, perform calculations and take a more broader view of interacting systems. Typical issues might include looking at frequency synthesis, power amplifiers/how much power is required, kind of phase, antenna parameters etc.

This role will ideally suit an electronics engineer who likes to continually solve novel and interesting problems in radio and communications.

The level of client contact and hands on detailed work can be adjusted from 0-100% depending on the type of work you prefer to do.
