- Description
- Research and development division of a successful medical company who are working on the development of a low-cost surgical robot. They are looking for a Computer Scientist / Software Engineer to focus on the advancement of novel machine learning algorithms and image processing applications for use in surgical applications on a robotics platform.
The successful candidate will collaborate with a small, innovative team of mechanical, electronic and software engineers solving challenging, real world problems that result in successful product manufacture and distribution to hospitals worldwide.
Due to the highly challenging nature of the role, we are looking for a strong academic background including a degree (very likely Computer Science) from one of the worlds top Universities and relevant experience in industry. A PhD or MSc in Computer Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning or Image Processing is desirable.
