Description
Sensor Engineer

This role will give you a mix of technical and commercial experience working with bleeding edge sensor technology for an ambitious start up in Cambridge. Although it is preferred you will have some industry experience we will also look at bright PhD level candidates with some practical experience of working with sensor technology.

The main bulk of the work will be working on the development of patented technology for next generation smart devices and surfaces. This technology which is set to be turned into commercial products over the next few years will target the consumer electronics, automotive, industrial and medical markets.

Using COMSOL Multiphysics to simulate sensor behaviors you will be analyze the impacts of sensor performance parameters as part of an overall sensor system, to then make optimized design choices.

For this role we are looking for:

A Masters or PhD in Physics or a related field with a strong understanding of working on the simulation and modelling of complex sensors ideally in an industrial setting.
