- Successful security start-up, recently acquired by a major player who are investing £21m in the next stage of growth and are looking for a Software Engineer with security knowledge, probably at the earlier stages of their career. The application talks directly to hardware in conjunction with machine vision and data science techniques to intelligently analyse visual, sensory and network data, culminating in a security system unlike anything ever experienced before.
They have fully embraced remote working, but you will need to go to the Central London office once per week.
This security software engineer role sits in the R&D team, working alongside development but is not an out and out development role. They need someone who can code but would rather spend a majority of their time looking at security (in depth) in every corner and crevice of the product R&D to continually ensure it’s robustness.
Security Software Engineer required skills:
- Linux
- Web security, OWASP
- Solid understanding of security scanners
- STRIDE threat models
Security Software Engineer desirable skills:
- Go, C/C++
- Worked as part of a PSIRT (Product Security Incident Response Team)
- Cloud security
- Docker & Kubernetes
- Google Cloud and GKE
