- Supplier Quality Engineer
Working out of a state of the art design and manufacturing facility you will oversee all supplier quality matters across a range of NPI projects. This will include developing relationships and ensuring quality standards across existing suppliers but also establishing new partnerships going forward.
The role will be site based as you will need to understand the technology and form close relationships with internal teams of engineers but you will have some flexibility with remote working. You will be required to travel overseas a couple of times a year to oversee suppliers and also visit UK partners. Because of this you will need to have a driving license and some flexibility with travel although you will be given plenty of advanced notice.
You main area of focus will be microelectronic components so if you come from an electronics supplier quality background this would be an advantage but not essential. What is key is that you understand the fundamentals of supplier quality and have the technical ability to be able to understand a complex hi-tech product.
