Description
Would you like to develop the world’s fastest cameras?  These products capture over a billion frames per second using state-of-the-art sensors interfacing with high-speed FPGAs.

This is a small, very successful company developing high value, low volume products primarily for research establishments across the world.

This position will suit an experienced Electronic Design Engineer with a knack for innovation (they have won a number of awards) and over 10 years of broad experience.  This is a hands on role where you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge electronic hardware and systems, taking them from concept to manufacturing.

It’s a varied role with elements of digital design, analogue, FPGA, high voltage power, architectural design and systems level specification.  The teams includes 2 other Electronics Engineers, a Physicist and Mechanical Engineer.

The role offers a clear promotional path to Technical Director in the next 2-3 years for the right person.

Electronic Design Manager essential skills:
  • A broad electronic design background, including analog and digital
  • Leadership skills
  • Design for EMC
Electronic Design Manager useful skills:
  • Cameras or Optics
  • High voltage circuits
  • FPGA development
  • Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings
