- Description
- This is a highly dynamic role where no two days will be the same. You will be at the forefront of driving quality standards across the supply chain, leading supplier non-conformance investigations from initial identification through to resolution, and ensuring suppliers consistently meet exacting requirements.
You will take a hands-on approach to line-side investigations and customer complaints, while owning supplier-related quality issues end-to-end. This includes driving structured root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and delivering sustainable, long-term improvements. You will also play a key role in supporting new product introduction activities, including supplier quality planning and component qualification processes.
Working within a modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, recently expanded through significant investment, you will be part of a forward-thinking organisation that designs and produces innovative, market-leading technology for a global customer base.
Success in this role will rely heavily on your ability to manage and develop supplier relationships.
You will be confident in challenging where necessary, but equally skilled at building collaborative partnerships that drive continuous improvement. You will also contribute to supplier performance monitoring, auditing activities, and the wider non-conformance and change management processes across the business.
We are looking for someone with solid experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to supplier development and improvement. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, with a structured approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of methodologies such as root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
Strong communication and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities. Experience with supplier quality tools such as PPAP, FAIR, or APQP, along with auditing against recognised standards like ISO 9001, would be highly beneficial.
Requirements:- At least three years’ experience in a quality-related role within manufacturing.
- Strong background in supplier management, including performance monitoring and issue resolution.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
