- Lead Manufacturing Operator
- Mon-Thurs (7:30am-4:30pm) and Fri (7:30am – 12:30pm) - Overtime available
Reporting into the unit leader, you will assist in leading other manufacturing operators to achieve manufacturing targets, drive cross-training, develop strategies and ensure orders are fulfilled on-time to the desired quality standards. This is very much a hands-on role with a focus on mechanical assembly and packaging and not a role that requires you to line manage people, but to provide advice, opinion and direction for other team members.
What are we looking for?- 2-4 years experience within a manufacturing role (flexible on industry)
- Mechanical engineering bias (can read drawings)
- Technical qualifications (degree. HNC, HND, apprenticeship etc)
- Lean manufacturing & continuous improvement (yellow or green belt)
