- Join a global business in a varied finance role that combines hands-on accounting tasks with opportunities to support key financial decisions. As a Finance Assistant, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data and helping the wider team deliver meaningful insights that drive performance.
Working closely with the Finance Director and Controller as part of a small, collaborative team based in Luton, you’ll take ownership of a range of core finance activities. These include issuing credit notes, processing invoices through customer portals, and managing VAT submissions. You’ll also ensure financial reporting is accurate, consistent, and aligned with business performance data.
Beyond the numbers, you’ll partner with managers across the business to deliver meaningful cost analysis, highlight opportunities for greater efficiency, and support profitability initiatives.
As the company transitions from SAP to a new financial system, you’ll play a key role in process improvement and system integration - gaining valuable experience in both finance operations and business partnering along the way.
We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in accounting, excellent analytical and organisational skills, and great attention to detail. You’ll be confident working with data, comfortable supporting and constructively challenging stakeholders, and motivated by continuous improvement. Experience with SAP (or a similar ERP system) is desirable.
